Welcome to the Attendance Office

Our office is located in the front office. We are available from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Attendance Policies

State law requires that students be in attendance at least 90% of the days the class is offered (excused and unexcused absences combined). Please refer to the CISD Secondary Student Handbook and the Peet JH Handbook Supplement for more complete information about the policies listed here.

To ensure proper record keeping, parents should notify the office by 11:00 am on the day of the student’s absence.

The cut-off time for early pick-up is 3:30 p.m.

Documentation necessary for absences to be excused.

Doctor's Note

  • Must be signed by doctor/nurse
  • Must include dates of absence(s)

Parent's Note

  • Signed note can be brought to office, faxed to the attention of Ms. Maldonado, or attached to an email cmaldonado@conroeisd.net.  Please include student’s name and ID number in the subject.
