The Art club is a bi-monthly group that provides materials, instruction and support for those students who are seeking a creative outlet in addition to their academic schedule or beyond their fine arts class. Meetings will be held in room 25.

The purpose for this group/organization is to help inspire young girls who are becoming young women to learn and be aware of how to carry and present themselves. To teach them self-image, self-esteem, and self-worth. Being a mentor these young girls and a go to when these young ladies are having difficult times in school, as well as being a safe place for these girls to express themselves is something I encourage not only me, but every teacher to do. Let’s help our Peet Beauties to better their future, and feel good while doing it.

($25.00 fee that goes for makeup, snack, and shirts)

Do you like to dance? Do you want to learn how to spin a flag while dancing? Come join the Peet Color Guard Club!! The Peet Color Guard Club is designed to provide students with a creative outlet for performance. Students will learn the basics of flags and dance with opportunities to perform in the community in the future. It is an excellent way to have fun and make friends. Students in the club may choose to continue with color guard in HS and will receive PE credit and Fine Arts credit towards HS graduation.

Have you ever thought about pursuing a medical career after high school? Would you like to learn more? We will meet once a month, January through May. Subjects will include Stop the Bleed training, taking vital signs, basic first aid, and information on many exciting and rewarding career opportunities in the medical field!

Who likes to play games? Everyone! Have a favorite game that you’d like to play? Dice, card, pen & paper RPG, board games are all welcome. No electronic games – no pc, game system or mobile device. Play’in ‘em Old School!

Students are selected based on: citizenship, service, leadership, scholarship and character. Students must maintain a high grade point average and be outstanding citizens in our school. The NJHS sponsors many projects that help the community, PJHS, and other organizations.

This club competes at speech and drama tournaments throughout the school year. Competition categories include duet acting, humorous monologues, improvisation, pantomime, dance, and poetry (just a few examples of many categories).

Student Council is a school service organization promoting leadership and community service.

The Peet JH Tennis Club (TC) is intended to be a social and community service oriented club that promotes the game of tennis and seeks out community service projects to complete throughout the year, usually 1 to 2, that enhances some aspect of our school and/or community at large. Leadership opportunities are available for students seeking experience working with other peers and the community.

There is a $26.00 fee for this club.

Individuals compete against other students in the district doing math problems and trying to get the most correct before the time limit is up.

Do you have an idea for a new club at Peet? You first must write your idea for a club down on paper and talk to one of the assistant principals. Come talk to us and we will help you in the process of forming a club.
